I was reading an economic Article about Uk and the name Darling came up
I did not know it was referring to Allistair Darling

and I remembered Captain Darling from Black Adder goes forth

I have a cunning plan" he will say
"Since we cant and dont want to tax the rich LETS tax the poor and get over with it""
I did not know it was referring to Allistair Darling
and I remembered Captain Darling from Black Adder goes forth
For a momenrt I thought it would be best to appoint Baldrick as Chancellor of the Exchequer
I have a cunning plan" he will say
PS quote from wikipedia
The character (kevin Darling) was originally named 'Captain Cartwright', as writers Ben Elton and Richard Curtis were unable to think of a more amusing name for him. Eventually however, Stephen Fry suggested 'Darling' would be a more comedic alternative. [1] It was at this point that Captain Darling developed his trademark eye-twitch.
